We’re looking for a Sales Manager who can take ownership of our sales process and help us turn an already-working founder-led sales motion into a scalable commercial system.
We already generate a consistent flow of qualified inbound opportunities through paid acquisition and referrals. Today, most of the sales process — qualification, calls, proposals, follow-ups, negotiation and closing — still runs through the CEO.
What you will do
You will be responsible for managing opportunities throughout the sales process and helping XQL continuously improve how we sell.
Your responsibilities will include:
* qualifying inbound opportunities and determining ICP fit;
* conducting discovery and sales calls with founders and senior executives;
* understanding clients’ businesses, challenges, goals, and commercial context;
* preparing and presenting proposals;
* managing follow-ups and moving opportunities toward clear decisions;
* handling objections, negotiations and pricing discussions;
* maintaining an organized and accurate CRM pipeline;
* coordinating contracts and handoffs to the delivery team;
* reactivating relevant past opportunities;
* analyzing why deals are won or lost;
* improving sales messaging, qualification, proposals, and processes;
* building relationships with potential clients and partners.
You will also have the opportunity to develop outbound sales as a new growth channel for XQL, including:
* identifying high-potential target accounts;
* researching relevant companies and decision-makers;
* developing personalized outreach approaches;
* using LinkedIn, email and other relevant channels to create conversations;
* experimenting with ICPs, messaging and outreach strategies;
* generating qualified opportunities independently;
* identifying successful outbound patterns and turning them into repeatable processes.
Who we’re looking for
You will probably be a strong fit if:
* you have experience selling B2B services, consulting, marketing, SaaS or technology solutions;
* you’re comfortable selling to founders, CEOs, CMOs and other senior decision-makers;
* you’re good at consultative selling and can understand a client’s business rather than simply pitch a predefined service;
* you can confidently discuss budgets, value, pricing and commercial terms;
* you’re systematic with follow-ups and pipeline management;
* you know how to qualify opportunities and are comfortable saying no to poor-fit prospects;
* you take ownership without needing constant management;
* you’re comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial environment where not everything has already been built for you;
* you think commercially and care about revenue quality, not just signed contracts;
* you’re curious and able to learn complex industries quickly.
Strong advantage
It will be a significant advantage if you have experience:
* selling marketing or growth services;
* working with software development, IT services, SaaS or technology companies;
* selling €3k—€10k+ monthly retainers or comparable B2B contracts;
* managing sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders;
* building or operating B2B outbound from scratch;
* generating your own opportunities through targeted outbound;
