EOS Data Analytics is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the next stage of development for LandViewer, our web-based platform for searching, analyzing and purchasing satellite imagery. While this is a Senior role, we are also open to strong Mid-level candidates with exceptional product thinking, independence and strong analytical skills.
This is not a role where you’ll simply execute a predefined roadmap. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in ambiguity, talking to customers, analyzing product data, validating hypotheses and helping shape the product direction. We expect you to bring your own perspective, challenge existing assumptions when supported by evidence, and help the team decide what we should build next.
About the product EOSDA LandViewer is a browser-based platform for searching, analyzing and purchasing satellite imagery.
Why do people use satellite data? Imagine trying to walk through thousands of miles of deep forests, open fields or pipelines just to check if everything is okay. It’s slow, expensive and hard to do.
LandViewer changes that. We turn complicated space data into an easy-to-use web tool. It helps professionals track changes, find issues and make decisions from their desks. We want a PM who is excited to build a product that gives everyday, practical help to the people taking care of the Earth.
We are now developing a new product strategy. Our goal is to move from serving a very broad audience to creating stronger value for selected customer segments and addressing their real workflows, needs and problems.
We are currently deciding which customer segments LandViewer should focus on and what changes would make the product genuinely more useful for them.
What you will work on * Help validate target customer segments, find their core problems, and define the product priorities to solve them. * Conduct regular customer interviews and combine the findings with product analytics, session recordings, market research and feedback from Sales and * Support to identify and validate product opportunities. * Identify the most important customer problems and workflow gaps and turn them into prioritized product hypotheses and initiatives with an expected impact on specific metrics. * Propose practical ways to validate ideas before committing to major product changes. * Turn validated problems and hypotheses into clear product requirements, working closely with Design and Engineering on solutions. * Measure results after launch and decide whether initiatives should be improved, scaled, reconsidered or stopped.
Required professional skills * Strong product mindset: the ability to understand customer workflows and problems, separate real needs from feature requests and use these insights to guide product decisions. * Proven experience conducting customer interviews and turning real customer insights into product changes that improved measurable metrics such as conversion, adoption, engagement or retention. * Strong product analytics skills and the ability to answer most analytical questions independently: build reports, validate data quality, double-check conclusions, and extract useful insights. * Hands-on experience with Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar product analytics tools. SQL knowledge is a plus. * Strong understanding of product and business metrics, including the ability to connect initiatives to measurable outcomes and estimate expected result * Experience conducting competitor and market research and combining it with customer and behavioral evidence to support product decisions. * Proven experience with A/B testing, including hypothesis formulation, metric selection, test design, result interpretation and further iteration based on the findings. * Experience managing complex, data-heavy products or B2B platforms. * Fluent spoken and written English, including the ability to conduct customer interviews.
Personal qualities * Able to take end-to-end ownership from problem discovery and validation through implementation and result evaluation. * Comfortable making decisions under uncertainty while clearly explaining the supporting assumptions and evidence. * Open to feedback, but able to defend a well-grounded position and constructively challenge existing decisions.
Nice to have * Experience with self-service SaaS products used by professional or business customers. * Experience introducing machine-learning or AI capabilities into a product. * Experience working with SEO, PPC, or other marketing and acquisition channels. * Spanish or Portuguese, as Latin America is one of the regions we are actively exploring. * Experience with geospatial products, GIS, remote sensing or satellite imagery.
