Position & client
Our client, Toromont Cat, is a Canadian industrial company that provides equipment, power systems, and support services for industries such as construction, mining, and energy. The application is built on a Microsoft technology stack, including Azure, .NET, and an MSSQL database, and is used daily by internal staff to support core business operations.

Responsibilities * Analyze business and technical requirements to create effective test scenarios and test cases. * Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing. * Execute manual testing of web applications, APIs, and database-related functionality. * Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects in Jira. * Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before releases. * Collaborate closely with developers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure high product quality. * Participate in ScrumBan ceremonies and be ready to present your work * Review requirements and provide early feedback to improve product quality. * Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, checklists, and test reports. * Validate application behavior across different browsers and environments. * Perform SQL queries to validate application data when required. * Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing practices.
Requirements * 2+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance. * Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and SDLC/STLC. * Experience testing web applications. * Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools. * Experience writing and executing test cases and test scenarios. * Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira/Boards * Basic knowledge of SQL and experience validating data in relational databases. * Understanding of REST APIs and HTTP methods. * Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams. * Familiarity with browser developer tools. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Good communication and teamwork skills. * English level B2 or higher.
Nice to have: * Basic understanding of Azure services. * Experience with Azure DevOps. * Experience with test management tools (TestRail, Xray, Zephyr, Azure Test Plans). * Experience with version control systems (Git). * Basic knowledge of automation testing. * Knowledge of CI/CD concepts. * Experience testing role-based access control and authentication flows. * Basic understanding of performance or security testing concepts.
