About the Project We are building a U.S.-based digital health platform focused on remote patient monitoring (RPM) and chronic care management. The system integrates with a broad range of FDA-approved medical devices and connects seamlessly with leading electronic health record (EHR) systems. We’re looking for a Middle Manual QA Engineer to contribute to and support our quality assurance efforts. In this role, you will focus on hands-on testing of web and mobile applications, help maintain reliable testing processes, and ensure the delivery of stable, high-quality software. Application Form: docs.google.com/...ewform?usp=publish-editorResponsibilities * Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications (iOS, Android). * Design, maintain, and execute test cases, checklists, and test scenarios (functional, regression, smoke, exploratory). * Actively participate in requirements analysis and refinement to identify risks and edge cases early. * Collaborate closely with developers, Product Owners, and designers to ensure high product quality. * Perform regression testing before releases and validate critical user flows. * Report, track, and verify defects with clear reproduction steps and expected results. * Participate in release readiness checks and post-release verification. * Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation. * Follow established quality standards and support compliance-related testing when required.
Requirements * 2-4 years of hands-on experience in software QA, with a strong focus on manual testing. * Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and defect lifecycle. * Experience creating test cases, and checklists from requirements or designs. * Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g. Jira, TestRail, Zephyr). * Basic experience with API testing (e.g. Postman, Swagger) — ability to validate requests and responses. * Strong SQL skills, including JOINs * Attention to detail and strong analytical thinking. * Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams. * English level: B1 or higher (written and spoken).
Nice to Have * Practical experience testing web applications on at least one mobile platform (iOS or Android). * Experience testing mobile applications on real devices. * Basic understanding of test automation concepts (no coding required). * Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams. * Exposure to healthcare or regulated domains (HIPAA awareness is a plus). * Experience working with distributed teams and overlapping with U.S. time zones. * Occasional availability for testing during EST working hours for patch releases * Charles / Proxyman / Fiddler basic experience
