Description: We’re looking for a Product Design Lead to help us do just that. As a Product Design Lead, you’ll play a key role in shaping the design vision, leading a talented team, and ensuring we deliver top-notch, user-centric products that drive business growth. As a lead designer at Paybis, you will help define product vision, improve UX flows, and ensure a cohesive brand experience in the crypto/fintech space.
Key Responsibilities: * Design Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of designers to create exceptional product experiences. Set the design vision, ensuring that the team delivers consistent, high-quality work across all touchpoints. * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Data Scientists, and other stakeholders to define and solve complex customer and business problems. Drive design strategy that aligns with product goals and company objectives. * End-to-End Product Design: Lead design efforts across the entire product lifecycle—from research and ideation to prototyping and high-fidelity design. Ensure a seamless user experience by designing simple, elegant, and functional solutions. * Design Systems & Standards: Create and maintain scalable design systems that ensure consistency across platforms (iOS, Android, Web). Advocate for best practices in visual design, interaction design, and usability. * Research & User Testing: Conduct user research, run usability tests, and analyze data to gather insights that inform design decisions. Lead guerrilla and customer testing workshops to validate assumptions and improve user experiences. * Metrics & Performance: Define key metrics for design projects and track their impact. Take ownership of the design’s performance, iterating on solutions based on feedback, user data, and release performance. * Strategic Thinking: Work closely with leadership and other cross-functional teams to ensure the design aligns with the broader business strategy. Help shape the long-term product roadmap by offering valuable insights based on design thinking. * Fostering a Collaborative Culture: Advocate for a collaborative, inclusive design culture where every team member feels empowered to contribute their ideas. Encourage innovation, creativity, and growth within the team.
Requirements: * Experience: 5+ years of experience in product design with experience in a leadership role, guiding and mentoring design teams. * Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of impactful product design work that demonstrates a user-centric approach to solving real-world problems. * Cross-Platform Expertise: Translate product requirements into elegant, intuitive UX/UI solutions across iOS, Android, and Web, ensuring consistency while optimizing for each platform. * Leadership & Mentorship: Experience managing and mentoring junior designers, fostering an environment of growth, feedback, and creative collaboration. * Design Process: Strong skills in UX/UI design, from research and wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping and delivering end-to-end design solutions. * User-Centered Focus: A deep understanding of UX and human-centered design principles, with a keen ability to anticipate user needs and create delightful, intuitive experiences. * Knowledge and experience with fintech or crypto products. * Data driven decisions — You will use user insights and analytics to inform and refine your designs, ensuring they are visually compelling and backed by data to drive results.
Nice to have: * Technical Understanding: Familiarity with the technical aspects of design, including front-end development and the ability to communicate effectively with engineers about technical constraints. * Startup Experience: Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment where agility, adaptability, and ownership are key to success. * Prototyping Skills: Experience with prototyping tools and knowledge of front-end development (e.g., HTML, CSS) is a plus. * Any design awards is a plus
