Currently, we are seeking a Senior PHP Developer to join the team working on the personalized online education service. This is an E-Learning platform with 15 years in the market and hundreds of thousands of daily active users.
Requirements:
— At least 5+ years of experience with PHP;
— Proven expertise in resolving complex performance issues and tackling architectural challenges;
— Expertise in building efficient, testable, and reusable PHP components;
— Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (preferable Laravel);
— Understanding of security principles, standards and testing patterns;
— Understanding of AI IDEs like Cursor or similar;
— Understanding and writing of SQL;
— Experience with unit test frameworks, test automation and build automation;
— Proficient understanding of Git, Docker and Composer;
— Upper — Intermediate English (both written and spoken).
Responsibilities:
— Develop and test new software components;
— Analyze and optimize existing PHP code and SQL queries;
— Problem-solve code issues based on bug reports;
— Write unit tests to improve the test coverage (can use AI tools)
— Attend daily stand-ups and complete tasks for bi-weekly sprints.
