That’s why, together with Oleksandra Khilienko, Head of Globalization at Headway Inc, we’re looking for a Globalization Product Manager to make sure every product we ship feels like it was built for the market it lands in. The team you’ll be working with This is a role that touches almost everything we ship globally. You’ll sit at the intersection of product management, user research, and linguistic strategy — working across product, design, and user experience, alongside a Growth Globalization Manager and native-language reviewers who keep our products feeling local. Your decisions will shape how millions of users interact with our products across very different languages, cultures, and markets.
You won’t be starting from a blank page. There’s a north star, a roadmap, real infrastructure, strong relationships with product teams and linguistic experts, and hard-won market knowledge. Your job is to run with all of that — investigate, form sharp hypotheses, and make the system meaningfully better where it counts. This role is your calling if you * Think in systems but act with precision — holding a multi-market picture in your head while staying focused on what actually ships. * Are genuinely curious about how people in different cultures think, click, and decide and read nuance without defaulting to assumptions. * Are as comfortable in a data dashboard as in a conversation with a reviewer about translation tone. * Make sound calls with incomplete information, then iterate fast — ambiguity energizes you. * Balance linguistic quality with business reality — you know when to trade polish for speed. * Get global work prioritized by teams you don’t manage, through credibility rather than a title. * Move fluidly between strategy and operations, and improve things proportionately — fixing what’s actually broken and leaving what works. * Believe great globalization is invisible — every market should feel the product was made for them.
What you’ll do * Drive the globalization roadmap and push it upstream, so it’s taken into account from the start, not bolted on. * Turn market and user research into clear recommendations — what to commission, change, or localize — and partner with product teams and GMs who make the final call. * Make our products feel native in every market, including the genuinely complex ones, and grow original, locally-authored content. * Turn global behavioral data into real product and localization decisions and own the analytics that show they landed. * Set the bar for UX localization and linguistic quality across teams you don’t manage. * Strengthen the systems behind it: AI-assisted translation pipelines, vendor and reviewer programs, and the tooling that keeps globalization fast and reliable. * Experiment with AI as a core part of the job — spot the right use cases, weigh quality and brand risk, and evolve workflows as the technology does.
Who you might be We’re open to two kinds of backgrounds: * The globalization expert who already thinks and acts like a product person — you know the craft (workflows, linguistic quality, experts, vendors, tools) and have the knowledge (analytics, user research, product lifecycle management) to move beyond service delivery into product contribution. * The product manager ready to go deep on globalization — strong product judgment and analytical instincts, genuine curiosity about cultures and international users, and happy to roll up your sleeves for the operational side.
