We’re looking for a detail-obsessed Operations Specialist to support our electronics sourcing and international logistics business, alongside our R&D and IT product development projects. This is a junior-to-mid role built around well-defined, recurring operational tasks where accuracy and speed valued the most — a single document mistake can mean weeks of customs delays and significant cost overruns.
What you’ll do * Draft commercial, marketing, and legal documents — mostly from templates, or from scratch with AI assistance (invoices, contracts, shipping paperwork, etc.) * Coordinate international freight: book shipments, track movement, handle docs with carriers and customs brokers * Source suppliers, request quotes, negotiate terms, and look for cost-optimization opportunities * Run calculations and lightweight analytical work to support sourcing and logistics decisions * Maintain operational reports and trackers in Excel / Google Sheets * Pick up the unconventional tasks that come with a portfolio spanning trading, R&D, and product development
You’re a fit if you have * 1-3 years in operations, procurement, logistics, supply chain, or a similar back-office role * Obsessive attention to detail — you double-check before you send, and then check again * Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills (formulas, lookups, pivots) * Upper-intermediate English (B2+) — comfortable reading contracts and writing professional emails * Genuine fluency with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) for drafting and routine work — a real plus, not a buzzword * A bias toward organizing chaos and tightening recurring processes * Based in Kyiv, Ukrainian citizen, personally aligned with Ukraine’s position
Nice to have * Familiarity with INCOTERMS, customs documentation, or international shipping * Background in procurement of electronics or hardware
