Flexifai is an AI-driven payment platform (PSP) serving both high-risk and traditional industries. We process millions of transactions through 80+ payment methods, including cryptocurrency, across Africa, Europe, and LATAM. Our team of 80+ professionals works in a hybrid format from offices in Kyiv, Lisbon, Limassol, and London, as well as remotely across the globe.
We are looking for a Payment Integration Specialist to join our Payments Team and take part in the integration and launch of new payment solutions, methods, currencies, and payment providers.
Requirements
* Strong understanding of payment methods, payment flows, and PSP integration processes — cards, e-wallets, bank transfers, local payment methods, etc.
* Practical experience with merchant onboarding or merchant integration processes.
* Understanding of the end-to-end payment lifecycle and transaction statuses.
* Strong analytical skills — able to trace transaction flows, identify discrepancies, and troubleshoot merchant-specific issues end-to-end.
* Solid knowledge of QA methodologies: test planning, test case design, defect lifecycle, and regression testing, applied to new merchant launches.
* Ability to read PSP/merchant technical documentation and extract concrete integration requirements.
* Experience with Jira or similar project/task management tools for tracking onboarding tasks.
* Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and API documentation.
* Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders (merchants, PSPs, dev, QA) simultaneously during a launch.
* Strong communication and coordination skills.
* Intermediate English level.
What you’ll do
* Coordinate the end-to-end onboarding and integration of new merchants, including their required payment methods, currencies, and PSPs — work with provider documentation, collect necessary technical and business requirements, create tasks in Jira, and monitor implementation through to completion.
* Launch already integrated payment solutions for new merchants and new markets: perform required back-office configuration according to established instructions.
* Test merchant-specific payment integrations and validate end-to-end payment flows before and after launch.
* Trace transaction flows and analyze payment statuses to identify discrepancies and integration issues specific to newly onboarded merchants.
* Collaborate with developers and payment providers to investigate and resolve merchant-related integration issues.
* Communicate with PSPs, merchants, the development team, and the internal Payments Team throughout the onboarding and launch process.
* Maintain merchant integration documentation, including configuration details, credentials, and go-live checklists.
