We are a fast-growing international FinTech company providing payment solutions to businesses across multiple markets.
As we continue expanding globally, we are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager who will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving commercial growth across international markets.
This is an individual contributor role focused on building long-term relationships with merchants, PSPs, banks, financial institutions, technology partners, and enterprise clients. You will work closely with the CEO and cross-functional teams to help expand the company’s presence and commercial footprint.
Role Mission
Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities into long-term partnerships while supporting the company’s international growth strategy and strengthening its position within the payments ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new business opportunities across international markets.
* Build and maintain relationships with merchants, PSPs, banks, acquirers, payment providers, and technology partners.
* Manage the full business development cycle from prospecting to contract signing and handover.
* Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new commercial opportunities.
* Generate and qualify a healthy pipeline of prospective clients and partners.
* Lead commercial discussions, negotiations, and presentations with potential partners.
* Prepare commercial proposals, business cases, and partnership agreements.
* Collaborate with Product, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Support teams to ensure successful partner onboarding.
* Coordinate new client and partner integrations with internal stakeholders.
* Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and business meetings.
* Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline updates, and commercial forecasts.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies within the payments industry.
* Build long-term relationships with strategic accounts and identify opportunities for account growth.
* Provide regular commercial updates and market insights to the leadership team.
Requirements
* 4+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Strategic Partnerships, or Account Management.
* Experience working within FinTech, Payments, Banking, SaaS, iGaming, or E-commerce.
* Proven experience managing complex B2B sales cycles.
* Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
* Experience working with enterprise clients and strategic partners.
* Good understanding of payment processing, acquiring, PSPs, banking infrastructure, or financial services.
* Experience working with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, or similar).
* Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
* Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Commercial mindset with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
* Fluent English.
Success in the First 90 Days
* Successfully onboard into the commercial processes and product offering.
* Build a qualified pipeline of prospective clients and partners.
* Establish relationships with key market stakeholders.
* Deliver the first commercial opportunities into the sales pipeline.
* Successfully support at least one partnership or client integration.
* Gain a strong understanding of the company’s products, positioning, and target markets.
* Become an active representative of the company within the industry.
