Role Overview:
We’re looking for a Senior Data Privacy Specialist to join our Privacy & Compliance team and become a trusted advisor for companies that operating internationally.
This is a senior, client-facing role focused on designing, implementing, and continuously improving privacy compliance programs. You’ll lead global privacy initiatives, advise executive teams, coordinate complex cross-border privacy matters, and, where required, act as an outsourced Data Protection Officer (DPO) for our clients.
You’ll work closely with founders, legal teams, product managers, and engineering teams, translating privacy regulations into practical, scalable business processes.

What We’re Looking For:
* 5+ years of experience in data privacy, GDPR compliance, or privacy consulting.
* Professional privacy certification (CIPP/E, CIPM, or CIPT).
* Deep practical knowledge of GDPR and strong understanding of UK GDPR and other major privacy regulations.
* Experience designing and implementing privacy compliance programs from the ground up.
* Experience advising senior stakeholders and business leaders on privacy strategy.
* Strong knowledge of Records of Processing Activities (RoPA), DPIAs, Legitimate Interest Assessments, privacy notices, data processing agreements, international transfers, and data subject rights.
* Experience coordinating multi-jurisdictional privacy projects.
* Ability to independently manage multiple client engagements.
* Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
* Excellent analytical thinking and practical problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to explain complex legal concepts in a business-friendly way.
* Excellent written and spoken English.
Nice to Have:
* Previous experience acting as an external or internal DPO.
* Exposure to AI governance or the EU AI Act
* Experience handling a regulator inquiry or DPA breach notification
* Familiarity with US state privacy law (CCPA/CPRA) or post-Brexit UK GDPR
What You’ll Do:
* Act as a Strategic Privacy Advisor: Partner with founders, legal teams, and business leaders to develop and execute privacy strategies that support business growth while ensuring compliance with GDPR and other applicable data protection regulations.
* Lead Privacy Compliance Programs: Design, implement, and continuously improve privacy frameworks, governance processes, and compliance roadmaps tailored to clients’ businesses.
* Draft & Review Privacy Documentation: Prepare and maintain privacy notices, Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), Records of Processing Activities (RoPAs), DPIAs, Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIAs), internal policies, and other key compliance documentation.
* Advise Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with legal, product, engineering, HR, and operations teams to embed privacy by design into products, services, and internal processes.
* Guide Clients Through Complex Privacy Matters: Support clients with data subject rights requests, international data transfers, vendor management, regulatory assessments, and evolving privacy requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
* Design and Standardize Workflows: Build scalable templates, playbooks, and repeatable processes that improve consistency, quality, and efficiency across client engagements.
* Stay Ahead of Regulatory Changes: Monitor developments in global privacy legislation and translate regulatory updates into practical guidance for clients and internal teams.

* Practical Case Study: Complete a short privacy-focused assignment and record a Loom presentation (up to 5 minutes) explaining your approach (approximately 2-3 hours).
* Technical & Strategic Interview with the Privacy Expert and Co-Founder (45-60 min)
* Final Interview with C-Level Executives (30 min)
