GrowthX wins and grows DXC’s enterprise application modernisation business, and this is one of the roles that engine runs on. This is application modernisation, not infrastructure: modernising legacy applications across every tech stack, from mainframe to general distributed workloads. You take our biggest opportunities from the first client conversation through to a signed deal and a strong start, and you keep the relationship growing after that. Sales find the interest and delivery builds the answer; you own the ground in between and make the deal happen. You will carry dozens of live opportunities at once, hold your own with senior clients, and drive the decisions that move deals. It is a high-profile role, visible to DXC leadership two levels below the CEO, so individual impact gets noticed.

* Mandatory Skills Description:
• Around 10 years of relevant experience across technical pre-sales, solution consulting, engagement or delivery management, or hands-on software delivery. Drive and hunger matter to us more than time served.
• Outstanding communication and real presence. You earn senior clients’ trust quickly and hold your ground in executive conversations.
• Exceptional organisation and dependability. Across a heavy, parallel workload you follow up without being chased, and deals never go quiet on your watch.
• Credibility on application modernisation. You know it well enough to become our SME, connecting a client’s problem to the right service without being a hands-on architect.
• Proactive, hungry drive. You take the initiative, push deals forward and make the call rather than wait to be told.
• Commercial sharpness. You understand pricing, win strategy and delivery risk, including the realities of software delivery and third parties.
