Hello — I’m Artem, co-founder of Halo Lab, a design-led product development company trusted by over 500 startups and established brands like Nokia, Zoom, and Opera.
I’m looking for a Business Development Manager to help us grow Halo Lab’s presence across the Middle East, with a primary focus on the Fintech vertical. Your focus will be on relationship-driven, high-touch business development — not volume-based outbound. This is a market where trust, presence, and local understanding move deals forward far more than cold emails do.
You’ll identify and engage with strategic Fintech companies across KSA, UAE, and the broader Middle East, build relationships with founders and decision-makers, attend regional events and conferences in person, and work closely with me to move targeted opportunities forward.
This is not a role for mass outreach or quick wins. It’s for someone who genuinely knows how to network in the region, isn’t afraid to get on a plane for the right meeting, and understands that in Middle East fintech, relationships are the pipeline.

Key Responsibilities
* Research and prioritize high-fit Fintech companies and decision-makers across KSA, UAE, and the wider Middle East.
* Build and execute a relationship-first business development strategy — in-person meetings, industry events, and warm networking over cold outbound.
* Travel regularly to the region for client meetings, conferences, and industry events to build face-to-face trust.
* Initiate and nurture relationships with Fintech founders, product leaders, and investors across the ecosystem.
* Represent Halo Lab as a premium design and software development partner in high-stakes enterprise conversations.
* Collaborate with the internal team on proposal prep, intro decks, and tailored case study materials.
* Own lead tracking and handoffs, ensuring clarity and coordination with colleagues.
* Contribute insight on regional market trends, buyer behavior, and ecosystem movements specific to Middle East fintech.
Requirements
* Based in Turkey (strong priority, given travel distances) or Europe.
* Proven experience in business development or sales within the Fintech niche.
* Track record selling design, software, or digital services (agency or consultancy background a plus).
* Willing and able to travel regularly for in-person meetings across the region.
* Strong conversational English, sharp networking instincts, and confident outbound skills.
* Highly organized, proactive, and able to move from research to action without needing hand-holding.
Bonus Points For
* Experience working with KSA, UAE, or broader Middle East markets and a real understanding of local business culture.
* Existing relationships within the Middle East fintech network — founders, investors, or ecosystem players.
* Familiarity with the design/dev agency model (especially web, mobile, UX, and branding work).
* Additional languages relevant to the region.
