Description We are looking for a Strong Middle Project Manager to lead multiple software development projects, ensuring successful delivery while managing scope, budget, timelines, risks, and team performance. The role also includes supporting pre-sales and upselling activities, contributing to department process improvements, and helping deliver measurable business value.
Requirements: ● 3+ years of experience in Project Management within an outsourcing business model; ● Agile knowledge and mindset; ● Experience with a fixed-price project; ● Solid understanding of SDLC; ● Proficiency in PM tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence); ● Excellent communication and negotiation skills; ● Strong self-management and ability to work in dynamic conditions; ● Dedication to results and problem-solving aptitude; ● Experience with budget management and financial oversight; ● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; ● Understanding of risk management and mitigation techniques; ● Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate teams; ● Upper-Intermediate English or higher.
Additional requirements: ● Knowledge of PMBOK and modern delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe); ● Self-starter, able to work independently; ● Willingness and ability to participate in upselling and pre-sales activities; ● Willingness and ability to continuously learn and develop new skills.
Responsibilities: ● Lead project planning, setting goals, tasks, and scope of work; ● Setup key project metrics and performance indicators; ● Manage the project triangle (scope, cost, time) and control objectives achievement; ● Work with customer requirements, meet expectations and maintain strong business relationships; ● Work with a risk register and define risk strategies; ● Setup project metrics for key areas; ● Lead Agile ceremonies and communications with stakeholders; ● Measure project performance, identify improvement areas, and manage the backlog; ● Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation; ● Apply and optimize Agile methodologies (SCRUM, KANBAN) effectively; ● Coordinate workload; ● Demonstrate strong communication and conflict-resolution skills; ● Facilitate project reviews and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement; ● Implement change management processes and strategies; ● Ensure projects comply with legal and regulatory requirements; ● Reporting to upper management and stakeholders about project progress.
Additional requirements: ● Participate in client engagement during upselling and pre-sales activities, including estimations and proposals; ● Forecast, track, and manage project budget and team performance; ● Participate in department process improvement initiatives.
Nice to have: ● Experience in the MilTech domain; ● Experience in EdTech and Fintech domains; ● Physical presence in Ukraine. Preferred location: Kyiv; ● Experience with Earned Value Management; ● Experience with upselling and pre-sales activities; ● Experience in requirement elicitation and analysis; ● PM certification (example CAMP, PMP); ● Scrum Master certification (example: PSM).
