About Us Hound Studio specializes in telling brands’ stories through custom animation, helping organizations communicate complex ideas in an engaging and visually compelling way. We partner with clients across industries to produce tailored animated content that supports marketing, product launches, education, and brand awareness.
Role This is a remote, contract role for a Business Development Manager. You will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and nurture relationships with prospective clients, and manage a structured sales pipeline. Daily activities include researching target markets, conducting outreach via email, calls, and online channels, presenting Hound Studio’s animation services, and preparing tailored proposals and quotes. The role also involves collaborating with the creative and production teams to scope projects accurately, negotiate contract terms, ensure smooth client handoff, and ongoing account management of clients you bring in.
Qualifications * Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally in creative services, digital media, or marketing agencies * Strong skills in prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline management using CRM tools and online platforms * Ability to conduct market research, identify ideal customer profiles, and tailor outreach strategies to different segments * Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills * Comfort working in a fully remote environment with strong self-organization and follow-through * Familiarity with animation, video production, or creative project workflows is highly beneficial * Experience drafting proposals, quotes, and basic contracts * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent practical experience
