At Empeek, we build complex, high-impact software solutions with a core focus on Healthcare. We are currently looking for a technical leader to step into the role of Delivery Architect — someone who will become the ultimate guardian of quality and architectural driver for our existing projects.
Working directly with the Chief Technology Office, you will have a high level of autonomy and a direct impact on shaping key technical solutions and engineering standards across the entire company. This is a role with zero monotony, offering a rich variety of projects and complex technical challenges to tackle.

What you will do:
* Conduct regular reviews of projects (design, implementation, infra-solutions) and provide recommendations for improvement;
* Develop, implement, and maintain company engineering standards (code quality, CI/CD, infrastructure, SDLC approaches);
* Create and evolve a technical audit framework for project quality assessment, ensuring a systemic, rather than ad-hoc, approach;
* Risk Management: Identify, analyze, and prioritize technical and delivery bottlenecks at both project and portfolio levels;
* Delivery Rescue: Participate in the stabilization of challenging projects;
* Create and maintain missing technical documentation from scratch, adopting the Architecture as Code paradigm (PlantUML, Mermaid);
* Support teams in resolving complex architectural and engineering issues, including preparation for security audits and compliance (e.g., SOC certification);
* Ensure alignment with engineering standards and best practices across different teams and clients;
* Interact with technical and business stakeholders to align technical solutions and priorities;
* Analyze current delivery processes and propose improvements to increase the company’s engineering maturity.
Optional:
* Form unified approaches to architectural design across projects;
* Implement observability, reliability, and security-by-design practices;
* Conduct training and mentorship for teams regarding engineering standards and architectural approaches.
What we are looking for:
* 7+ years of experience in software engineering;
* Hands-on experience conducting architectural reviews and technical audits;
* Proven track record of developing, implementing, and maintaining engineering standards (code quality, CI/CD, infrastructure, and SDLC);
* Deep knowledge of modern architectural patterns, including microservices, event-driven architecture (EDA), modular monoliths, and API-first design;
* Experience identifying, analyzing, and mitigating technical and delivery risks;
* Practical experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP);
* Hands-on experience managing challenging projects and stabilizing delivery (delivery rescue / turnaround);
* Strong understanding of data privacy, security best practices, and compliance standards;
* Experience with Architecture as Code concepts and tools (PlantUML, Mermaid, etc.);
* Upper-Intermediate (B2) English level or higher (both spoken and written) & fluent Ukrainian.
Nice to have:
* Experience working in service-based IT companies;
* Background or interest in Platform Engineering;
* Practical audit or compliance experience.
