Project: We’re looking for a backend engineer with strong experience in integrations and platform automation to join a fast-growing AI startup building a platform that integrates AI employees into everyday business operations. The platform enables AI agents to communicate through tools like Slack, email, WhatsApp, and voice, while integrating with business systems and workflows. Built with a no-code approach for non-technical users, the product already has a working MVP and active paying customers.

MVP is ready Position: New role Timezone: European timezone required; overlap with Israel working hours (UTC+3) expected Location: Remote English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher Responsibilities: * Build and maintain the connector and integration framework * Develop and support third-party integrations and automation flows * Implement reliable API communication and backend services * Support AI agent tool integrations and platform scalability * Handle queues, retries, rate limits, and idempotent workflows * Contribute to testing, monitoring, and production issue resolution * Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams
Requirements: * Strong backend development experience with Python, Node.js, or similar technologies * Solid understanding of REST APIs and SaaS integrations * Experience with OAuth, webhooks, queues, retries, and async workflows * Experience integrating services such as Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom, WhatsApp, email platforms, or CRM systems * Understanding of scalability, reliability, and production support practices * Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment
