Our client’s product enables users to build financial solutions designed for SMBs that turn manual monthly and quarterly reporting processes into automated ones.
We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Lead Python Engineer with strong Django expertise and a passion for startups to join our team!
Key Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field; 5+ years of experience in software development in a SaaS company; Fluent in Python (Django); Excellent knowledge and experience with building, optimizing, and maintaining large-scale production systems; Experience with writing unit tests and integration tests; Experience with Relational DBs (Postgres, MSSQL); Experience and familiarity with Cloud Architecture and services; Knowledge of REST and experience working with REST APIs; Familiar with KISS, DRY, SOLID, OOP; Knowledge of Celery; English — Upper-Intermediate or higher.
Will be plus:
Familiarity with Azure; Knowledge of RabbitMQ; Knowledge of Redis; Knowledge of Excel Add-Ins.
What you will do:
Take part in developing the backend of the SAAS application; Develop and lead end-to-end development of new features and services in a multi-service environment while maintaining high quality and standards; Develop scalable web APIs, implement sophisticated business logic, and develop asynchronous services in a data-oriented, scalable application; Take part in a multidisciplinary team involving algorithms/frontend/UI/DevOps; Play a significant role in the entire development life-cycle, from design to production.
