Genesis is currently searching for a dedicated and enthusiastic Tax Associate.
What You Will Do: * Conduct research on various international tax matters, incl. case law. * Track changes of tax laws, and regulations in countries where the company is represented to stay updated with relevant legislation changes. * Contribute to the analysis of tax implications on business decisions. * Aid in identifying and minimising tax risks. * Assist in managing tax and compliance aspects within the Group. * Help in developing tax structures for our international entities. * Assist in preparing tax returns for various jurisdictions. * Contribute to internal and external tax audits.
Qualifications: * BA/BS or MA/MS degree in economics, business, or other related field. * 2 year + of work experience in international tax (experience in the Big 4 or top-niche boutique consulting firms will be preferable). * Strong desire to dive into and explore new countries’ tax legislation. * Strong research skills (i. a. using databases like IBFD, Tax Analyst, CCH Answer Connect, etc.). * Basic understanding of international tax principles, familiarity with tax treaties, key tax concepts and acronyms such as OECD, BEPS, ATAD, and DAC. * English proficiency (upper-intermediate, advanced), with strong communication skills — is a must. * Practical experience with MS Excel. * Tech-savvy, demonstrating openness and adaptability to new technologies.
