As we enter our next growth phase, we are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to build and scale our hiring both in Ukraine and globally. You will play a pivotal role in attracting diverse talent across technical, product, and operational functions — ensuring that every critical team in our startup has the people it needs to succeed and to drive the future of defense technology.
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS: * You will be the front line of Swarmer’s growth, ensuring we attract and hire the best talent locally and across global markets. * You will design and execute sourcing strategies that meet the demands of one of the most challenging and innovative industries — MilTech. * You will not only run day-to-day recruitment but also drive improvements in how we hire — refining processes, shaping best practices, and launching strategic talent initiatives that make hiring smarter and more scalable.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Full-Cycle Recruitment: * Partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs. * Own the end-to-end recruitment process across Ukraine and international markets.
Talent Sourcing & Employer Branding: * Build and execute proactive sourcing strategies across multiple channels (LinkedIn, communities, events, niche сhannels). * Build strong pipelines not only for engineers but also for product, operations, and leadership positions, ensuring all key functions of the startup can scale. * Position Swarmer as an employer of choice in MilTech through high-touch candidate interactions.
Candidate Experience & Process Excellence: * Conduct screening calls and assessments to ensure both technical and cultural fit. * Facilitate interviews and guide candidates through the process with clarity and professionalism. * Manage offers and negotiations in collaboration with hiring managers. * Continuously improve recruitment workflows, tools, and evaluation methods to ensure a fast, fair, and effective hiring process.
Reporting, Market Insights & Talent Initiatives: * Maintain up-to-date data in the ATS and track recruitment metrics. * Provide insights into talent market trends and competitor landscape. * Launch and lead initiatives beyond recruitment (e.g. talent pipeline building, referral programs, candidate community development) to strengthen Swarmer’s long-term talent strategy.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: * 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably in startups or fast-paced tech environments. * Proven track record in recruiting for hardware, embedded, or other complex technical and non-technical roles (military tech experience — a strong plus). * Experience working with international markets and global talent pools. Strong sourcing skills, with ability to engage passive candidates. * A mindset that combines execution with strategy: you are hands-on in closing roles but also forward-looking in shaping how hiring should evolve * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. * Fluent English (both written and spoken). Proactive, autonomous, and resilient professional, able to thrive in high-responsibility environments.
