Job Brief
Paybis is seeking a passionate Technical Product Owner. You will play a major role in connecting business stakeholders with the development team dealing with payments, crypto exchange and blockchain technologies.
Key responsibilities
* Understand business needs and requirements and translating them into functional specifications and tasks.
* Work with senior business stakeholders to define the product vision and roadmap;
* Act as the primary point of contact between the business and the development team, facilitating communication and ensuring alignment.
* Proactively cooperate with other functions and key stakeholders to ensure that company objectives are achieved;
* Collect and analyse new feature requests and define how they fit into existing product;
* Create and maintain the product backlog, continuously refine it with the dev team based on changing business needs and requirements;
* Lead the product planning and refinement processes, managing stakeholders’ expectations for the delivery of new features;
* Analyse, define and communicate business objectives and requirements to the development team on the required level of details;
* Collaborate with designers, developers, and QA to define and implement new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
* Create functional documentation and diagrams, use cases, acceptance criteria and non-functional requirements based on business requirements;
* Own and develop the relationship with 3rd parties providers and partners, working with them to optimize and enhance the integrations;
* Participate in the feature demo for stakeholders, accept functionality at completion.
* Evaluate metrics and statistics to gain insights into the performance and effectiveness of features.
Requirements
* Proven Product owner or IT Business Analyst experience in technology platforms in a field of Fintech, Banking, Acquiring or Exchange domains;
* Experience with e-commerce, payment service providers, payment widgets or payment gateways solutions;
* Knowledge in practices and techniques of product/business analysis, requirements gathering and solutions assessment;
* Experience in creating business requirements, specifications, use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria in a clear and concise form;
* Experience in data visualization techniques and tools (Figma, Axure, Visio, draw.io or similar);
* Understanding of how PSPs and payment gateways work, their APIs and business process flows;
* Ability to proactively analyse relevant business drivers and strategies with stakeholders to put the appropriate product decisions in place;
* Ability to understand high level business ideas, assess its impact and break them down to facilitate service design and delivery;
* Knowledge of SDLC and software development methodologies;
* Experience of work collaboratively and effectively with both business stakeholders and development team across the different locations;
* Experience with Jira and Confluence is a plus;
* Knowledge of BI tools and techniques is a plus;
* Knowledge of software architecture, microservices, API, blockchains, integration protocols or data formats is a plus;
* Good relationship and facilitation skills;
* Excellent English communication skills; written and verbal.
