As the Engineering Manager, you will lead two cross-functional Scrum teams (each consisting of 5 talented professionals) with a primary focus on people management, process optimization, and delivery management. What you’ll be working on: * People & Team Management: * Lead, mentor, and develop two cross-functional Scrum teams, fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous learning. * Facilitate regular team meetings, one-on-one sessions, and performance reviews to support professional growth and address any challenges. * Champion a culture of innovation and open communication across the teams. * Process Improvement & Project Management: * Oversee the planning, prioritization, and execution of technical projects, ensuring alignment with business goals. * Drive process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and delivery timelines. * Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure projects are executed efficiently and effectively. * Technical Oversight: * Provide technical insights and suggestions, drawing on your understanding of cloud technologies (GCP, Kubernetes) and familiarity with our stack (Golang, TypeScript). * Work with technical leads to ensure scalable and robust solutions are developed. * Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to guide innovation within the team. * Collaboration & Communication: * Act as a liaison between engineering, product, and business teams to ensure clear communication and shared understanding of project goals. * Promote agile best practices and foster an adaptive, resilient team culture.
About you:

Must-have skills and experience: * Experience: * At least 3 years of experience in managerial or team lead positions within a technical environment. * People Management: * Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire technical teams, with a strong focus on mentorship and career development. * Technical Acumen: * A background in software engineering or related fields. * Familiarity with cloud environments (preferably GCP and Kubernetes) and modern tech stacks (Golang, TypeScript) is advantageous, though not mandatory. * Agile & Process Management: * Experience working in agile environments, particularly with Scrum, and a proven track record of managing and delivering technical projects. * Communication Skills: * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
